Nancy Robb Tobin - INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Nancy Robb Tobin 93 died Friday, January 24th, 2014 at The Forum at the Crossing, Indianapolis, IN. Born in Chicago, IL in 1920, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jessie Robb and sister of the late Charles W. Robb, III. After graduating from the University of Illinois, she moved to Rochester, NY where she spent her working life as an advertising copywriter. She married James R. Tobin and had two children. After the death of her husband and her retirement, she moved to Savannah, GA where she became active in Savannah's Historic District as well as numerous arts organizations in and around Savannah. She was an avid swimmer, continuing well into her 80's and some of her favorite memories were of summers in Michigan at the family cottage on Klinger Lake. She is survived by her two sons, James (Barbara) Tobin of Seattle, WA and Christopher (Susan) Tobin of Carmel, IN; 5 grandchildren, Timothy Tobin, Angela Kilpatrick, James A. Tobin, Stephanie Odaffer and husband Chad, Kathryn Bundy and husband Lance; 3 great-grandchildren, Nicholas T. Kilpatrick, Carter A. Odaffer and Sophia M. Odaffer. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 8, at 11:30 a.m. and held at The Forum at the Crossing, 8505 Woodfield Crossing Blvd., Indianapolis, IN. Light refreshments to follow. Inurnment will be at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY. In lieu of flowers, and to keep Nancy in our memories, please do some small kindness to brighten an elderly person's day. Nancy's family would like to thank the caring staff at The Forum at the Crossing and Vista Innovative Hospice Care.
