Charles "Skip" Raabe, 64, of Economy, died Sunday at home. Skip was surrounded by his loving family, his wife of 34 years, Margy Law, son, Jesse Law Raabe, and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, all of Economy.

Born in Ashland, April 21, 1948, he was a son of the late Charles and Olive Raabe.

Skip served proudly in the Air Force from 1968 to 1971, and graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

He was employed by Beaver County as director of waste management.

He was a long-time leader of Boy Scout Troop 414, Economy, and was an avid lover of camping, hunting and the outdoors.

He is also survived by a sister, Susan Hudock, Gordon; a niece, Amy Wahalec; and a nephew, Michael Hudock.

Friends may call to celebrate Skip's life from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at The Timberhouse at Rolling Acres Golf Course, 350 Anchortown Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. A short remembrance of Skip's life will be held at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to BSA Troop 414, c/o Margy Law, 203 Park Hill Road, Baden, PA 15005.
