James E. Bohr, 82, of Palmyra, passed away Sunday at the Lebanon Valley Home, Annville.

Born in Tower City, Aug. 14, 1931, he was a son of the late John and Dora Adams Bohr.

He retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot, where he had been a manager.

James was a member of the Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra, and the Brownstown Lodge No. 666, Hershey, where he had served as Worshipful Master. He was also a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and the Scottish Rite Consistory — Harrisburg.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Zserai Bohr.

Surviving are his brother, Peter E. Bohr and his wife, Darlee; and sister, Shirley Reightler, both of Tower City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Route 72 and 5 Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Masonic services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday and a viewing will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
