Joseph Adam Burba, 93, of Citrus Heights, Calif., passed away Nov. 28 at Sutter Roseville Medical Center.

Born in Shenandoah, Dec. 10, 1918, he was a son of the late Joseph Adam and Anna Shumski Burba.

He was a World War II veteran with the Army Air Corps and received two bronze stars.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially his weekly trips to Thunder Valley and daily lotto.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Pearl Burba.

He was the loving father of Joseph Burba, Citrus Heights, Calif., William (Kathy) Burba, Granite Bay, Calif., Robert Burba, Sacramento, Calif., Anna (Craig) Cox, Orangevale, Calif.; loved brother of John Burba, Pennsylvania; cherished grandfather of Adam, Nicole (Mike), Kristen, Michael, Kelly and Ragen.
