Patricia A. Ebert, 57, of Hamburg, passed away Saturday at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.

Born in Pottsville, Aug. 29, 1956, she was a daughter of the late John Arthur and Rose Marie Laughlin Bayliff.

She was the wife of Ronald J. Ebert.

She attended Nativity BVM High School and graduated from Schuylkill Haven Area High School. She received a bachelor of science degree from Penn State University and recently attended Alvernia University with a concentration in early childhood development.

Patricia was employed by the Berks County Intermediate Unit for 30 years as a teacher of the Head Start program.

She was the color guard captain for the Belvedere Drum and Bugle Corps.

Patricia was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughters, Nicole Shott and her husband, Jeffrey, Laureldale, and Amber Ebert, Orwigsburg; a son, John Ebert and his wife, Janeen, Reading; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Leah, Nathaniel and Emerson; siblings, Jack, Kevin, Robert and David Bayliff and Linda Bluge.

A Catholic funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. At the family's request, memorial donations in Patricia's name may be sent to the , Schuylkill Unit, 16 N. Fourth St., Minersville, PA 17954.
