Terry Dale Erdman, 65, passed away Jan. 24 in Naples, Fla.
Born in Rough and Ready, Terry was a son of Olive Maurer Erdman, Myerstown, and the late Guy Erdman.
After graduating from Tri-Valley High School in Hegins, he went on to graduate from Penn State University and then received his master's degree in business administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He served in the Army.
Terry was an avid woodworker and was always ready for a good DIY project. He also loved boating and fishing.
During his years of travelling the world for Procter and Gamble, Terry made it a habit to visit every Hard Rock Café he encountered. At last count he was nearing the 60 mark.
Terry regularly attended Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Naples, Fla., and was a member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Erdman.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Peggy Erdman, Bonita Springs, Fla; mother, Olive; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Joe Bishman, Naples, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jasmine Erdman, Mason, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Melissa Erdman, Myerstown; sister, June Erdman, Myerstown; grandchildren, Noah and Ethan Erdman, Mason, Ohio; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Williamsburg United Methodist Church, 330 Gay St., Williamsburg, Ohio, with a memorial service beginning at 4 p.m. Donations in Terry's memory can be made to Williamsburg United Methodist Church, 330 Gay St., Williamsburg, OH 45176 or Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 8200 Immokalee Road, Naples, FL 34119.
