Gloria T. Zack Bellucci, 85, of Shenandoah, passed away Wednesday evening at Luther Ridge Assisted Living, Pottsville.

Born in Shenandoah, May 27, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Helen "Mame" Mesarick Zack.

She was educated at the former St. Stephen Parochial School and was a 1947 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, both of Shenandoah. Gloria was also a 1951 graduate of Penn State University, earning a bachelor of arts and letters. She then further studied at Colombia University, N.Y., where she received her occupational therapy degree.

On May 29, 1955, in St. Stephen Church, Shenandoah, she married Joseph N. Bellucci, who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2009.

Gloria was a registered and licensed occupational therapist, having been employed at Lebanon Veterans Administration Hospital, United Cerebral Palsy, Pottsville, and the former Ashland State General Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. She also worked with her late husband, Joseph N. "Mr. B" Bellucci, proprietor of the former Bellucci Cleaners, Oak Street, Shenandoah, for 50 years; she was fondly known to everyone as "Mrs. B."

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, and a member of the former St. Stephen Church, Shenandoah, where she was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary, volunteered for the parish bazaar and enjoyed participating in the annual Heritage Day Parade when she marched in Slovak garb. Gloria was also a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer for the yearly Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival.

Gloria was actively involved with her children; she was a den mother for the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Regional Girl Scout Board in addition to being a Girl Scout leader. She was also a former board member of both the Shenandoah Valley High School Board of Education and the Shenandoah Area Free Public Library.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband of 53 years, were a son, Joseph A. Bellucci, July 30, 2009; and brother, Joseph Zack.

Surviving are two daughters, Gloria A. Laudeman and her husband, Russell, Ashland, and Carol A. VanAnglen and her husband, Erik, Mounds, Okla.; two granddaughters, Maurissa A. and Amy L. Laudeman; a grandson, Zack J. Bellucci; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 S. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Divine Mercy Parish Sacred Worship site, St. Casimir Church, Shenandoah. Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. Relatives and friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. There will be no calling hours Monday evening. Expressions of sympathy can be made in Gloria's name to the Shenandoah Area Free Public Library, 15 W. Washington St., Shenandoah, PA, 17976.
