Annette Vivian Kaplan|
Annette V. Kaplan, born November 11, 1924 in Bellingham, WA, the daughter of Max and Sophie Altose, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2014, surrounded by her adoring family. She was an active volunteer with City of Hope, B'nai Brith Women, and a past Sisterhood president of Temple De Hirsch Sinai. She graduated from University of Washington with a BA in Sociology and worked for a short time with the State. Annette loved hosting family and holiday dinners for many occasions. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 years, Paul and her daughters Sandy (Stuart), Paula (John) and Lynn (Scott). She loved being with her grandchildren Shaun (Tracey), Aaron (Stacey), Rachel, Michele, Matthew and Adam. Annette was also blessed with 5 great grandchildren, Nick, Zachary, Savannah, Jacoby and Hayden. She was predeceased by her brother Dr. Alex Altose and her sister Margaret Berg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. We will all miss her dearly.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 4th at 12:00pm. at Arthur Wright Funeral Home, 520 West Raye. Contributions appreciated to Temple De Hirsch Sinai, City of Hope, American Diabetes or NW Kidney Centers.
