Arch Noel Currier

Arch Noel Currier passed away Nov. 12, 2012. He was born Feb. 26, 1922 to Arch and Marie Currier, their only child, in Newton, Kansas. He attended Northwestern University and the University of Washington. He served in the Navy as a Radioman in the South Pacific, Adak and many other ports of call from 1941-1944, when he was honorably discharged. He worked for Peoples National Bank (now US) for 37 years until his retirement 30 years ago. He was a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. His interest after retirement was raising bonsai and belonged to the Puget Sound Bonsai Assc. He married his wife, Carolyne Slagg in 1944 and they were married a few days shy of 68 years.

He is survived by his wife Carolyne and children Karen Lindvall, James DDS (Janet), Gregory and Brad (Sherri), six grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery.
