Charles Allen (Jerry) Jarrett|
December 21, 1926-September 26, 2013
A Seattle native and life-long resident, Jerry attended Ravenna Grade School, Roosevelt High School, earned his degree from the University of Washington and was a veteran of WW II. For many years Jerry was an executive in the domestic and international freight forwarding industry and owned and operated his own freight forwarding company prior to his retirement.
He had been a long time member of the College Club of Seattle and was a member of the Seattle Tennis Club. His favorite pastime was cooking and during his retirement years spent many a happy hour in the kitchen trying out recipes and creating many new ones of his own.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gay; his children Sherrie, Pam (Bryce); his grandchildren, B.J., Melinda, Brittaney, Carole; three great grandchildren; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marcie, Fred; their children Leigh and Marco.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
