George J. Selvidge|
January 6, 1921 ~ January 20, 2013
Born in Seattle, WA, George was a 1938 graduate of Lincoln High School. After graduation he attended the University of Washington until the outbreak of WWII. He served in the Army until the war ended in the Pacific.
Upon returning to Seattle, he completed his studies at the
U of W and received a degree in Journalism. He would later return to the University and receive a Master's Degree in Education.
In 1950 he joined the faculty at Edmonds High School where he taught journalism and English, and also served as a Councilor. He retired from teaching in 1977. He will be fondly remembered by his many students and friends.
