Helen Livesey Hettinger

HELEN LIVESEY HETTINGER of Edmonds was born in Yakima Washington on August 12, 1924. She graduated from the University of Washington where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta. With her husband, Keith Allison Hettinger, she lived in Spokane a few years and moved with their children to Edmonds in 1959. When her children were in high school, she began working as a secretary at the Seattle District, Corps of Engineers, where she retired in 1987.

She is survived by her three children, Holly Hettinger Jackson, Jim Hettinger and his wife Kelly, Ronald Keith Hettinger and his wife Laura, grandchildren Mark and Scott Jackson, Kathy Jarman, April and Nicholas Hettinger and three great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by her sister, Margaret Livesey Nutley of Yakima and several nieces and nephews.

At her request, there will be no service; the family will hold a private celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to .
