James Anthony Trujillo|
James ("Jim") Trujillo passed away at the age of 63 on October 13, 2013.
He was born on July 9th, 1950 in Pueblo, CO. Jim embraced life to the fullest and took pleasure in nature and spending time with his family. He loved music, hiking, scuba diving and travelling, among other passions. Jim completed the US Marine Corps Platoon Leaders Candidate program and was honorably discharged in 1974. He received an undergraduate degree from BYU and then obtained his law degree from University of Washington in 1976. He became a deputy prosecutor after graduation until he opened a private practice in Bellevue in 1983. Jim was an accomplished trial lawyer and committed to giving back to his community. Jim was very active in the State and National chapters of the Hispanic bar association (serving as President for both the State and Regional chapters) and volunteered at Eastside Legal Assistance Program for many years.
Jim was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2007 and after several years under the loving care of his son David and his wife Theresa in Yakima, Jim has been freed from the terrible disease.
Jim is survived by his sons David and Roman Trujillo and daughter, Gina Trujillo and his sisters and brothers, Patricia, Chuck, Debra and Mike and 9 beautiful grandchildren.
