James Bowman passed away on December 20, 2012 at the age of 69, in Renton, Washington.
Jim was born in Bellingham, Washington to Glenn and Elen Bowman where he grew up with his four sisters. He later went on to become a United States Marine, and upon his release graduated from the University of Washington with his Bachelor's degree in Business. He went to work for Pacific Metal Company in Seattle, WA., a company that he loved and thoroughly enjoyed. He retired after 38 years as a salesman for Pacific Metal Company, Tukwila WA.
Jim was a true Husky Football fan, a devoted alumni who spent decades attending football and bowl games, especially during the Don James era. A Bob Dylan enthusiast, Jim collected memorabilia, books, ticket stubs, and records, not to mention attending as many concerts as he could. Jim also enjoyed playing golf and was an avid sports fan of all types.
He is survived by: his mother Elen; two children Dylan and Jayleen; sisters Ann, Janet, Nancy and Gail.
We invite family and friends to honor him at his memorial, which will be held on Monday, January 14th at 11:00 am. At Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 Southeast 240th Street Kent, WA.
