John David Jackson, Sr.|
Age 82, died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Bayview Retirement Community in Seattle.
Born in Kansas City, KS on December 10, 1931. A world traveler and A Veteran of the U.S. Navy who fought in the Korean War. Retired from Oberto Sausage Company in Seattle. Member of the Church of God in Christ. A man of God with a vivacious laugh, whose motto in life was to 'THINK BIG.' He loved the Lord, praying, traveling, fishing, bowling, swimming, and spending time with Children and Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Claire Jackson; siblings Henry Jackson Jr., Anna Mae Blakely, Cornelius Jackson, Clara Mae Jackson, Louise Meyers and Carl Jackson.
Survived by his Children: John David Jackson III and his wife Cathy, Rebekah Jackson-Green and her husband Luther, Josephine Walters and her husband Troy, John David Ingram and his wife Theresa and JoAnn Stewart. Grandchildren: John David Jackson III, Phillip Jackson, Josephine Green, Carl Jackson, Lauren Green, Luther Green IV and Tate Walters. Great Grandchild John David Jackson IV. Siblings: Alberta Lampkin and Sidney Jackson. Also survived by numerous extended family and good friends.
