Larry M. Delaney|
Larry M. Delaney, born in Seattle in 1923, passed away on May 11, 2014. He quarterbacked the undefeated 1941 Ballard HS football team and was a member of the Nat'l Ski Patrol for many years. Larry served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and in the Korean War. He had a 43 year career with the phone company and was a 60+ year member of the Washington Athletic Club. Larry volunteered for 25 years at the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle and was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Larry will be greatly missed by Emily, his wife of 47 years, and their blended family of 8 children (and spouses), 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on June 2nd at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lynnwood, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Ronald McDonald House of Seattle or the Hospice program at Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, WA.
