Nancy Tomlinson Long|

Born in Tacoma, WA, Nancy was educated in British and American schools, graduating from Garfield High School, Seattle in 1942.
As a student at the University of Washington she studied fine arts and became a life-time member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Her working career continued her love of the arts in Seattle, New York City and Honolulu at the Honolulu Academy of Art. She also held various professional positions within the Episcopal Church. She maintained a strong interest in political affairs and was an avid supporter of organizations in aid of animal life and protection of the environment. She gave her time to the Woodland Park Zoological Society.
Nancy is survived by her husband, The Reverend James G. Long, two daughters, Constance Scott Nardi and Susan Scott-LaRue, and a grandson, Lawrence T. Nardi.
A memorial service will be held on January 31, 2014, 1:00 PM at Saint Dunstan's Episcopal Church, 722 N. 145th Street, Shoreline.
Remembrances may be made in Nancy's name to The Seattle Humane Society, PAWS or other similar charities.
