Patricia Ann Lee|
Patricia Ann Lee passed away peacefully on September 23, 2013. A Seattle native, Patty was born on July 30, 1930, and lived most of her 83 years in the Emerald City. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she married the love of her life, Bob Lee. They enjoyed 46 years of marriage until his passing in 2002. Patty was a dedicated wife and mother who created a welcoming home for her children and grandchildren. She was a masterful storyteller and she leaves us with fond memories of black cats, dark forests, and the magical nature of wardrobes. Patty had a deep Christian faith which she passed on to her family and sustains them as they grieve her passing. She is survived by her son Rick Lee, daughter Tricia Hyland (Dwight), and granddaughters Margot and Bridget Hyland, along with her sister, Carol Rodolf, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be conducted on October 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Bayview Manor, 11 West Aloha St., Seattle. Carpooling is encouraged. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Queen Anne Presbyterian Church, The Salvation Army, or the Union Gospel Mission.
