Pearl Chin Kyu Namkung

Pearl Chin Kyu Namkung died suddenly at her home in Lake Forest Park on October 13, 2013 of a cardiopulmonary event. She was 85.

Born in Seoul, South Korea on August 14, 1928, she came to Seattle to study at the University of Washington where upon graduation, she began a long career as a researcher in the University's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Moses. Together they enjoyed Seattle's rich cultural environment of art, dance and music as well as the University's academic and scientific communities.

Survivors include her sister, Seona Sung, brother, Choong Kyu Kim, daughters, Wende and Gina, their husbands, Alexander Domschot and David Lemon, and six grandchildren.
