Ray Olsen, 75, of Seattle, passed away on November 5, 2013. He is survived by his wife Bedia; three children and their spouses- Shari (Steve), Liane (Phill), Jon (Sarah), and five grandchildren-
Christopher, Brendan, Blake, Lauren, and Gabrielle. Ray was born in June, 1938; in Seattle, WA. He grew up in West Seattle, where he attended West Seattle High School. In 1960, he graduated from The University of Washington with a Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Shortly after graduation, he began his career at Atomics International, in Canoga Park, California; where he met his future wife Bedia. In 1964, he moved back to Washington where he worked for Boeing for 34 years. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and sailing on his beloved sailboat, The Voyager. He also loved golf and tennis and frequent trips to Sunriver, OR.
