Robert Phillip BUCKLEY

Born April 1, 1939 in Taunton, MA; died suddenly November 26, 2013 on Mercer Island, WA.

Survived by Therese, his loving wife of 46 years; his children, Timothy Buckley (Rebecca Miner), Chris Buckley and Jenny Buckley Martin, (Michael); his grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary and Kayliana; Siblings, Barbara Holdridge (Jerry), Paul Buckley (Jackie) and Kevin Buckley.

Bob served in the Air Force, graduated from Kent State University, and Seattle University where he received his Masters in Business Administration. He was retired from Boeing after 35 plus years as a project manager.

Bob loved the Pacific Northwest and called the following areas home at some point: North Seattle, Mercer Island, and most recently divided his time between Port Ludlow and Bellevue. Bob loved being with family and friends; he enjoyed the outdoors and spending time on or near the water. Bob was dedicated to service to others especially through the Friends of the Needy ministry at St. Monica Catholic Church. He also supported Special Olympics, the University of Washington Newman Center, Catholic Community Services and the Sisters of Lovers of the Holy Cross.

Recitation of the Rosary will be Wednesday, December 11th, at 10:25 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 AM BOTH at St. Monica Catholic Church, 4301 88th Ave SE, Mercer Island, 98040.

Remembrances may be made to Friends of the Needy, c/o St. Monica Catholic Church.
