Ronald S. Feola|
Ronald Sabato Feola, 86, passed away peacefully after a stroke in his North Seattle home with his family at his side on March 15, 2013.
Ronald was born on September 8, 1926 in Vancouver, B.C. to Micheline Eusanio Feola and Gennaro Feola from L'Aquila and Salerno, Italy. The family moved to Port Angeles in 1937 where he graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1944. In WWII he served as an MP guarding prisoners to and from the war crime trials in Tokyo.
In 1948 Ron married his hometown sweetheart, Vivian May Parke, and in 1951 completed a degree in business administration from the University of Washington. He opened his own CPA practice in 1963, and enjoyed his work and clients until retiring at age 82. Ron also enjoyed fishing at Alta Lake and in Canada, playing cards with friends, and RV travel. He relished time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his wife, Vivian, their children, Charlene, Michael (Sharon), and Diana, as well as five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held at Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave, Edmonds, WA, on May 4, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send gifts to a
