Roy Sarion, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Sunday April 28th. He was 33.
Born in Subic Bay, Philippines he soon made the journey to the United States with his family and settled in Bremerton WA.
After graduating from Olympic High School in 1998, he attended the University of Washington for several years but most importantly was able to live on his own where he flourished.
During this time, his interest in music blossomed and he started to DJ on his own. He would play for his friends, local venues and even on the East Coast.
Roy also refound his joy of Magic the Gathering and spent considerable time collecting and playing with his roommates and friends.
Roy made an incredible impact on everyone he met. He will always be remembered for his infectious laugh, upfront honesty, and unmatched love, thoughtfulness, and kindness. He will be sorely missed.
Roy is survived by his mother Rosalyn, father Vincente, brother Rey, sister in law Sarah, nieces Maya and Laurel and many other dear family and friends. He will be remembered and loved always.
Services are to be held on Thursday May 9th at Butterworth Funeral Home-Arthur A. Wright Chapel with a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at Noon.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society for Seattle/King County.
