Scott W. Reams|
The family of Scott Reams is sad to announce his death in Ventura, California on July 3, 2014. Scott was born in Seattle on October 21, 1964 and was raised in Medina, Washington. Scott graduated from Bellevue High School where he played on a championship soccer team and performed with the BHS Bellairs. After graduation, he attended the University of Washington where he joined the Delta Chi fraternity.
Scott worked in the hotel industry in Bellevue where he was recruited by Hilton Hotels and became a department head at the Fess Parker Resort in Santa Barbara for many years.
Five years ago when the Hilton was sold, Scott went to work for Apple Corporation in Santa Barbara. Scott was praised by customers and co-workers for his warm personality, great sense of humor and friendly corporate relations.
Scott was the beloved son of mother Sharron Reams and father Bill Reams, both of Medina and Bellevue, sister, Susan Reams of Olympia and brother Jay Reams of Redmond. Scott was the proud uncle of three nieces, Emily and Mollie Reams and Savannah Reams-Taylor.
Scott was and will always be cherished by his family and many friends and colleagues.
A social gathering will be held at the Fess Parker Resort in Santa Barbara on Tues. July 15 at 5:30 p.m. This will be followed by another gathering of friends and family at the Overlake Golf and Country Club, 8000 N.E. 16th Street, Medina, Wash. 98039 on Friday, July 18 at 5:30 p.m.
