Sharyn passed away on August 14th 2013 with family and friends by her side.

Sharyn was born in Missoula Montana, on July 8th 1938 to George and Gerda Morris. They moved to Spokane WA., where she attended Lewis and Clark High School and graduated Valedictorian of her class. She enrolled at the University of Washington and joined Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. It was there that she met David L. Richards on a blind date. They later married and raised three children while residing in Bothell, WA.

Sharyn loved her family and loved music. As an accomplished violinist, she held 1st chair in the Cascade Symphony Orchestra. She also directed the choir at Bothell Presbyterian Church for many years.

She loved to entertain young children with the spirit of Halloween. Every year she would dress up and roam the halls of Maywood Hills Elementary School, putting fear and smiles in the hearts of many young children and adults alike. She was renowned as the spirit of Halloween and the 'wicked witch' in Bothell, WA. Sharyn is survived by her husband David L. Richards, her three children Cathy Adrian, Steven Richards, and Blake Richards, three grandsons, three granddaughters, three great grandchildren and her older brother Robert Morris. Any donations can be made to Providence Hospital, Hospice Care.
