Thomas Francis Hodgson

Thomas Francis Hodgson passed from this life September 24, one month short of his 90th birthday. He was born in Bellingham, WA, to parents, Joseph and Frances Hodgson. The family moved to Canada during the Depression and made Vancouver their home.

At age 18, Tom enlisted in The Royal Canadian Air Force and served WWII as a navigator, stationed in London. After the war, he and beloved wife of 63 years, Anna, (Magnusson), settled in the U.S. Tom received his Doctorate degree in Psychology from the University of Washington where he enjoyed his lifelong career as professor and later an university administrator.

Kindness, generosity and integrity were his guiding principles. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Anna; brother, Robert; and parents. He is survived by daughters Marla Smith, (Jeff Jr.) and Sally Holt (Mike); and son Kevin Hodgson, (Diane). His grandchildren loved their Grandpa Tom and he will be dearly missed by many.
