Victor Leonard Scheibert Obituary
Victor Leonard Scheibert

Victor Leonard Scheibert, 85, died on February 13 at home in Lacey, Washington. He leaves behind his sister, Carrol Glithero; son, Victor (Jacqueline); daughters, Valinda and Valorie; and four grandchildren, Colin, Devon, Hilary, and Rachael. Vic was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Virginia. Vic was born in Portland, Oregon, on July 18, 1927. His family moved to Seattle in 1936. Upon graduation from Highline High School in 1945, he joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served during WWII. After the war, he studied accounting at the University of Washington and then worked for the Washington State Department of Revenue, rising to the position of Regional Director. Vic was a lifelong Husky football fan-he loved those Dawgs! He also enjoyed playing golf, and he was an active member of the Capitol City Golf Club. He was very social and enjoyed the company of his golf and poker buddies. Vic was a good husband and father, and he loved his family very much. We will miss him.
