William passed away peacefully in his sleep and went to his Lord and Savior July 27, 2013.
William (Bill) Hansen Jr. born on the 4th of July 1930 in Prosser WA. Preceded in death by his first wife Lois Hansen (Linn) in 1965 is survived by his wife Elsie; sons Bill Hansen III, Mark Hansen, David Hansen, of Burien, WA. Daughter Karen Volkman (Rob) of Federal Way, WA, all from his first wife. Daughter Rachel Doviak (Tad) of Des Moines, WA; sons, Tim Hansen (Denise) of Rohnert Park, CA, Michael Hansen of Dayton, Ohio from his present wife and nine grandchildren.
Bill was born and raised in Prosser WA, joined the Navy in 1949 and was discharged as a Radio Electronic Technician in 1953.
He went to the Milwaukee School of Engineering and received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1957. He was married in 1957 to his first wife Lois. He went to Graduate school at the University of Washington 1959 to 1964. He married again in 1971 to his present wife Elsie.
He worked for the Boeing Company from 1958 until 1995.
He was an avid duck hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.
A viewing/visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday,
July 31st at Bonney-Watson Washington

A memorial service for Bill will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday August 1, 2013 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 2021 S. 260th St. Des Moines, WA 98198.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 2021 S. 260th St. Des Moines, WA 98198.
