William Samuel Bennett Obituary
William Samuel Bennett

William "Bill" Bennett 83, of West Linn, OR. Died peacefully on February 6th in his home. Born on June 27, 1930 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Bill lived an adventurous purposeful life. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Bill proudly played football at the University of Kentucky for Bear Bryant and studied civil engineering. Bill loved his wife Jean fiercely, and they shared a "FANTASTIC" life together. He prized his three daughters, son, four granddaughters, and five (one on the way) Great grandchildren. Everyone that crossed Bill's path instantly became his friend. A Mason, mariner, SOS chef, craftsman, engineer, kind man, and impeccable storyteller were a few of his traits. Noticed for his large stature, but remembered for his bear hugs and big heart, he did not make a living by what he got but rather for what he gave. His life will be celebrated with family and friends this coming summer.
