Yoshio Fujimura

Yoshio Fujimura, 76, passed away on January 27th, 2014 at Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah, WA. He was born on October 25, 1937 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA to Tomi and Reverend John Fujimura. He graduated from Highline High School and attended the University of Washington. He was a resident of Renton for 45 years. Yosh worked for Boeing Computer Services as a Systems Analyst for over 34 years. Before working for Boeing he served in the Army. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, and traveling the globe. He was the Huskies' #1 fan and would even travel to Southern California to watch his beloved Dawgs play. He really enjoyed being a grandfather and would teach the grandchildren how to fish and swim. Yosh is survived by his wife, Joanne of 52 years; his children, Stacey Fujimura, Steve Fujimura (Maki), Pam Gargett (Mark); his grandchildren William Takano, Yuuki, Shoma, & Kai Fujimura and Joshua & Isabelle Gargett. A private burial was held at Evergreen Washelli on Saturday, February 8th.
