Vicky Smith Wise, 56, of Simpsonville, KY passed away Sunday August 3, 2014. She was a former banker, loan office, branch manager and vice president who had worked with Shelby County Bank and Trust, Commonwealth Bank and Trust, and American Founders Bank. She was a former Simpsonville City Commissioner and had been involved with the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Shelbyville, and the Shelby County Community Theatre. She was a former recipient of Simpsonville Citizen of the Year. She was a past member of the Grace Assembly Church of God where she taught Sunday school and worked with the children's choir. She was involved with the Christian Clown Ministry, "Keepers of the Ark" and served in mission work in Ecuador. She was a graduate of the Anderson County Class of 1976. She is preceded in death by: parents, Edward U. and Blondella Brown Smith; brothers, James Urie Smith and Thomas L. Smith; sister, Rebecca Cheryl Smith.

Survivors include: husband, Tom Wise, Simpsonville; sons, Christopher Wise (Kelley) and Jeromy Wise; grandchildren, Evan Thomas Miller, Jonathan Bailey Wise, MaKenzie Nicole Wise, Leigha Madison Wise, Zachary Thomas Wise, Braxton Alexander Wise and Beckett Mason Wise; brothers, Eddie Berton Smith ( Anna), Frankfort, Quinnie Lee Smith (Alice), Bethlehem, Jackie Lynn Smith (Sheila), Lawrenceburg, Alvin Curtis Smith (Donna) Graefenburg, Tony Douglas Smith (Deidre), Willis Burg, David Drew Smith (Charlotte), Pleasureville; sisters, Anzie Maxine Jenkins, Lawrenceburg, Mary Elizabeth McNeil, Lawrenceburg, Michelle Bast (William), Simpsonville and Carolyn Weber (Donnie), Frankfort; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at Shannon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Simpsonville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 2-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of Sympathy:
