Joseph J. Kittelson, 62, of Sheboygan, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 6, 1949, in Sheboygan, Joseph was a son of the late Howard and Lorraine Ellenbecker Kittelson. On March 14, 1975, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Paul in Sheboygan.

Joe served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army.

Joe was employed by the Kohler Company for 40 years in the Engine Plant. He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.

Joe was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He enjoyed motorcycling, deer hunting, collecting Budwiser beer steins and being "Papa" to his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn; three daughters, Tanya Kittelson, Sheboygan, Kim (Andy) Zeman, Sheboygan, Paula (Brian) Lindsay, Cleveland; four grandchildren, Dalton and Kyler Zeman, MaKenna and Alaina Lindsay; three sisters, Elizabeth Van Der Weele, Sheboygan, Laurie (Gil) Matzdorf, Oostburg, Rosemary (Ken) Hermann, Sheboygan; one brother, John (Jean) Kittelson, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lorraine.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., with the Rev. James Hartman, pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Ucker Cemetery, School Hill.
