Brucker, Les E. (1936-2013)
Les E. Brucker, age 77 of Cascade passed away early Wednesday Evening, (June 26th), at Life Care Hospital in Pewaukee where he had been a patient for six days.
He was born on June 4, 1936 in Meadville, PA, a son of the late Elmer and Ellen Ploch Brucker.
He attended Meadville High School.
Les served in the United States Navy from 1953 - 1957.
On February 21, 1976 he married Pam Froehlig at Grace Lutheran Church in River Forest, Illinois. The couple has resided in Milwaukee, Oak Creek and in the Town of Mitchell since 1978.
Les was a broker of wholesale groceries for over 40 years.
He was a member of Plymouth Alliance Church in Plymouth and a former member of the Meadville and West Bend Jaycee's and the Mason's.
Besides spending time with his loving family he had two passions in life: traveling and eating not necessarily in that order. He was extremely giving and a generous man to everyone he met.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years: Pam of Cascade, His children: Rex Thomas (Loretta Cross) of Taff, CA., Sheryl Thomas of Uba City, CA., Jodie (Mike) Hanson of Marion, WI ., Dawn (Brad) Thiel of Chilton, Eric (Emily) Brucker of Cross Plaines, WI ., Heidi Brucker (Special friend: Tom Doebert) of Madison, Five grandchildren: Katie Rose Thomas, Emily and Kristi Thomas, Angela Dilley and Brady Hanson, Two great grandchildren: Hannah and Gavin, His cousins: Edward (Grace) Brucker of Blooming Valley, PA., Sandy Schlosser of Cambridge Springs, PA., Marlene Michols of Linesville, PA. Also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother: Jimmy.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday Afternoon, (June 30th), at 2:30 P.M. at the Plymouth Alliance Church in Plymouth. Rev. Bill Krause, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be at the CHURCH on Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Les's name for the Plymouth Alliance Church Great Commission Fund.
The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites at the church following the services.
