Piaskowski, Terry R.

Terry R. Piaskowski, age 63, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, May 5, 2014 at his home.

He was born May 19, 1950 in Sheboygan to Raymond and Audrey (Ubbelohde) Piaskowski.

He was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School, Class of 1968. Following graduation he proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps Intelligence Division stationed in Hawaii and Japan. On December 19, 1985 Terry and Carol Hoehne were united in marriage at Zion United Church of Christ.

For a number of years Terry worked for Thomas Industries as a CNC operator before beginning employment as a truck driver for Swift Trucking and later Chizek Trucking.

Terry enjoyed model railroading and RC racing with his son, Derek. He also was a computer buff for family and friends. He and Carol liked taking long walks around the Sheboygan area.

He was a member of Zion Covenant Church and the Model Railroading Club.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Carol and her two sons, Jerome A. Duenk and Steven C. Duenk, Jr; his father, Raymond Piaskowski; his aunt, Darlene (Bruce) Erdmann; his cousins, Robert (Susan) Ubbelohde, Ronald (Shellie) Ubbelohde, Linda Erdmann, Jeff (Annette) Erdmann, and Keith (Susan) Erdmann; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Piaskowski; his son, Derek Piaskowski; and his aunt, Gene Ubbelohde.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Zion Covenant Church. Pastor Andy Hopp will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 12 Noon until the time of service. Burial with full military honors will follow at Greenbush Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in his name.
