Constance Mountain Obituary

Mountain, Constance A. (1933-2014)

Constance A. "Connie" Mountain, age 81 of Plymouth, WI passed away Early Tuesday Morning (Dec. 16, 2014) at Woodland Village at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility where she had been a resident for one month.

She was born on September 11, 1933 in the Town of Douglas, Iowa, a daughter of the Late William V. and Elizabeth A. (McGee) Marr.

Connie graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1951. She attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison and graduated with a Teaching Degree from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc.

On September 29, 1956 she married Robert C. Mountain at Most Holy Name of Jesus Church in Sheboygan. The couple resided in Sheboygan until moving to Plymouth in 1970. Her husband preceded her in death on June 26, 2006.

She taught at St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Sheboygan Falls and also taught Elementary School in the Houston, Texas area.

Connie is a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. She loved reading, cooking, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include five Children: Michael Mountain and Debbie Nelson of Tomah, Patrick (Karole) Mountain of Plymouth, Daniel (Jill) Mountain of Elkhart Lake, Kelly Mountain of Illinois and Carolyne (Michael) Zorn of Sheboygan; nine grandchildren: Shannon (Ryan) Waterworth of Columbus, WI, Zachary Mountain of Tomah, Travis Mountain of Pickerington, OH, Ryan (Emily) Mountain of Pickerington, OH, Sam and Max Gatyas of Illinois, Jaime (Shannon) Alfson of Sheboygan Falls, Corey Zorn of Sheboygan and Amanda (Michael) Brookins of Manitowoc; two great grandchildren: Bryce and Zoey Waterworth; two sisters: Nancy (Bernie) Mueller of Marytown, WI and Kay (Richard) Oberhoefer of Waukesha and one sister-in-law: Lois (Eugene) Geltemeyer of Sheboygan Falls.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert and her parents.

Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday Morning (Dec. 20) at 11:30 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Sheboygan.

Friends may call at the CHURCH on Saturday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Connie's name.
