Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We lived next door to Alfred for many years. He was a kind, gentle man and a wonderful neighbor. He would collect or newspapers for us when we went on vacation and we enjoyed our conversations in the yard. Although we moved away years ago, he recognized and spoke to us a few months ago while having breakfast at a local restaurant. We are truly sorry for your loss.

Frank & I will always remember Alfred for his wonderful example. He was always one of the first people to arrive for church services and he was always there unless he was sick. When we would visit other area congregations during their gospel meetings Alfred was almost always there too. He was also so devoted to caring for his sick wife. He was kind and always had a smile for us when we greeted him. We are so blessed to have known this godly man.
