Arthur Ray Reynolds

HAUGHTON, LA - Service to honor the life of Arthur Ray Reynolds, 66, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Carlton Gilmer. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Thursday evening, August 22, 2013, between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arthur was born in Promise Land, AR on February 26, 1947, to parents, Howard and Thelma (Lee) Reynolds and passed away early Tuesday morning, August 20, 2013. He protected the city of Shreveport as a Shreveport Fire Fighter and retired as Captain after 28 years of faithful service. Arthur was also a U.S. Army Veteran who loved to hunt, loved to sing, and loved his Sunday school class at First Baptist Church of Bossier.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Reynolds; sister, Mary Elizabeth Wilder; brother, Herbert R. Reynolds; and his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Richard Reynolds and wife Kayla, and Shannon Cammack and husband David; step-daughter, Kim Hasty and husband Troy; sister, Joye Reynolds Snelson; brother, George W. Reynolds and wife Marjean; and nine grandchildren.
