J.T. McDuff

Keithville, LA - J.T. "Peanut" McDuff Jr., age 67, passed away on January 1, 2014. Peanut was born in Springhill, La. on December 26, 1946 to the late J.T. Sr. and Louise McDuff. He was a 1965 graduate from Woodlawn High School, shortly after graduating he was drafted by the U.S. Army to serve in the Vietnam War. While serving two tours between 1965-68 he received his marksman badge.

On August 13,1971 Peanut married the love of his life, Irma Jean Corpier. Peanut worked most of his life as an amazing auto body repairman. He dabbled in construction and hot shot driving but he always found his way back to his skillful craft of body work on vehicles.

Peanut was a beloved member of his small community, he could always be found enjoying his favorite past times of hunting and fishing which he loved teaching and sharing this love with his kids and grandbabies. His one true passion was those grandchildren, he never missed a chance to love on them. Peanut is survived by his wife: Irma McDuff of Keithville; three children: Stacy Cagnina and husband Tyler; J.T. "Jay" III McDuff and wife Heather; Kim and Bryan Hartley; Mother: Louise McDuff of Heflin, La.; Sisters: Mary Ann Marr and husband Frankie of Heflin, La.; Delores Kennedy and husband Ed of Delphi, In.; Suzie Dickerson and husband Mike of Siloam Springs, Ar.; Brother: James McDuff of Heflin, La.; four beautiful grandchildren: Joseph and Taylor Norwood and Jordan and Allie McDuff; plus several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing will be held Sunday January 5, 2014 at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Hwy. Shreveport, La, 71115. 5pm-7pm.

Funeral will be Monday January 6, 2014 at Greenwood Cowboy Church and Fellowship in Greenwood, La. at 10am.

Graveside will follow at 12 noon at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd. Keithville, La. 71047 The family thanks you for your prayers.
