Margaret Gay North Gould

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Margaret Gay North Gould, 68, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church with Harold Christenson officiating. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery, Haughton, LA. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.

Margaret was born in Shreveport, LA July 1, 1945 and passed away February 1, 2014 in Shreveport. She was a graduate of Byrd High School. Margaret worked in the Pastoral Care/Spiritual Care Department of Schumpert St. Mary Place for 27 years. The last 10 years were spent at Cook, Yancy, King and Galoway as a receptionist. She enjoyed taking care of her family and did so with great passion, even as her health began to wane. The past five years presented many challenges for her, but she continued to live with a smile and always said "I am fine". She was an active member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church.

Margaret is preceded in death by her father, David North, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Justin Gould of Bossier City, LA; daughter, Angela Suzanne Gould Beck "Suzi" of Shreveport, LA and the father of her children, Darryl Gould. Margaret will be loving remembered by her mother, Roberteen North of Shreveport, LA; sister, Peggy Logan of Greenwell Springs, LA; brothers, David North, Jr. of Haughton, LA, Jonathan North of Shreveport, LA; granddaughters, Amelia and Abigail Beck, Addison Margaret Beck expected in June of 2014 and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

Honoring Margaret as pallbearers will be Jon North, David North, Dana Beck, Darryl Gould, Josh Jennings and Eric Childress.
