"Bobby" "Luke" was born on February 18, 1929, in Pineville, LA and graduated from Tioga High School. He served our country in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. After his return he loved being what he called "a real cowboy" in his spare time, roping and riding in rodeos.
"Bobby" "Luke" worked hard all of his life and was employed by Central Management Co. and retired at the age of 77. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Royal Arts. He loved dancing, fishing, hunting and telling tales. He had many friends who loved him and that he loved. Mr. Bobby was such a character. His favorite bible verse was Job 3:1-26, and to have known Bobby was to love him.

He was a wonderful dad to his daughters and grandfather to his grandchildren. He is survived by his companion and best friend of 24 years, Nancy Wetsel Kennon; daughter, Pam Posey; Nancy's daughter, Michelle Cox and husband, Marshall; granddaughters, Jessica Flook and husband, Andy and Michelle Tannehill; Nancy's granddaughter, Kristen Hightower; three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ann Sellers; and Quincy Carter, who he considered his brother. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Garden Park, especially, Raquel, Vickie and Connie; St. Joseph Hospice, Lisa and Tom Edmonds, who were such a comfort to us visiting, playing the guitar for "Luke" and some of the best prayers ever.
