NORTH LIBERTY - Dale E. Hille, 81, of North Liberty, IN, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Bremen Health Care Center, Bremen, IN. He was born on August 25, 1931, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Paul and Beatrice (Baker) Hille. On November 11, 1966, in Elkhart, IN, he married the former Sharon M. Schultz. Mr. Hille is survived by his wife, Sharon M. Hille; two daughters, Victoria and Sheila, both of Fort Wayne, IN; three sons, David Hille of Bremen, IN, Joseph Hille of Goshen, IN, and Steven Hille of Fort Wayne, IN; nine grandchildren & ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Paul Hille; sister, Shirl Harden; and three brothers, Preston, Roland and Glen Hille. Mr. Hille was a graduate of Purdue University, Ball State University and St. Francis in Fort Wayne, IN. He was an Industrial Arts teacher for the South Bend Community School Corporation and retired in 1991 after thirty-three years of service. He also taught in Elkhart and North Liberty High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of V.F.W. #1954 where he was a Commander and Quarter Master and Forty and Eight American Legion #365 North Liberty. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and canning. He loved spending time with his family. Mr. Hille was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, in St. John's Lutheran Church, 67600 Pine Road, North Liberty, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday in the Palmer Funeral Home, 202 N.
