Deon Stutzman July 24, 1932 - July 6, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Deon Stutzman, 81, passed away at home on Sunday, July 6, 2014. Deon was born on July 24, 1932, in Mishawaka, as the son of the late Gail and Helen (Meyers) Stutzman. He was also preceded in death by two wives, Doris and Mary. Surviving are his sons, Terrance Stutzman of Warsaw and Douglas Stutzman of Granger; his stepdaughters, Deborah Ann Ruff Stineback and Sandra "Sandy" Louise Ruff; and his aunt and uncle, Gina and Ralph Brangan of Waterford, MI. Deon worked for Ball Band and then later he was the owner of Stutzman Construction. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during the Korean War. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior on Wednesday, July 9, in Gospel Center Missionary Church, 930 S. 30th Street, South Bend (please use parking lot entrance), with Pastor Tom Murphy of Granger Community Church officiating.
