SOUTH BEND - Jack Arden Enyeart, 85, residing in South Bend, passed away at 10:34 pm Monday, September 16, 2013, in Hospice House. He was born December 19, 1927, in Plymouth, IN, to the late Ralph A. and Mary E. (Stack) Enyeart, and remained a lifelong area resident. On May 1, 1954, in South Bend, Jack married the former Rosemary Marcinkowski, who preceded him in death on February 14, 2011. He was also preceded by a sister, Betty Montgomery, in May 2013. Jack served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a delivery driver for Bungelow Pies for 30 years, Simon Brothers for 7 years, and Dexter Axle for 10 years before retiring in 2001. Jack was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge and enjoyed hunting in Iron Mountain, MI, playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. Jack is survived by his children, Dennis (Joan Getz) Enyeart of Elkhart, Donald Enyeart of South Bend and Dawn (James) Mustak of Elkhart; grandchildren, David (Chas) Enyeart of Mishawaka, Andrea Enyeart of South Bend, April Mustak of Mishawaka and Nicole Mustak of Osceola; great-grandchildren, Aleah and Breana Enyeart and Kaden Mustak; as well as his niece, Michelle Friday of Mishawaka. There will be no visitation. The family will gather for graveside services at 12 noon Monday, September 23, 2013, at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 1020 19th Street NW, Suite 475, Washington, DC 20036.
