MISHAWAKA - Jerry "Joseph" Bottorff, son of the late Ralph and Gladys Bottorff, died February 22, 2013. Jerry was born in Mishawaka, Indiana, in April 1942. He graduated from Mishawaka High School and attended Indiana University in Bloomington. Jerry's surviving family includes his brother, Richard (Sheila) Bottorff of Stevensville, Michigan; nephews, James (Laura) Bottorff and David (Maria) Bottorff; and grand-nephew, Jacob Bottorff, all of Chicago, Illinois; niece, Laura Preston; and grand-nephew, Anthony, and grand-niece, Allee of Stevensville, Michigan. Another nephew, Jeffrey Bottorff, preceded Jerry in death. Jerry made a positive difference in the lives of many through his compassion and intellect. The family wishes to thank the caretakers at Grace and Southwest Hospice of Douglas for their help and support during Jerry's stay. A private family service is planned.
