MEDARYVILLE - Keith B. "Frog" Salrin, 77, longtime Medaryville resident, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at his home in Guymon, Oklahoma. The son of Orvis and Mary Alice (Walter) Salrin, he was born March 12, 1936 in Medaryville, Indiana. Keith was raised in Medaryville, and graduated with the Class of 1954. Frog served in the U.S. Army Special Forces from 1954 to 1964, with stints in Korea and Vietnam. Following his honorable discharge, he worked in Gary in the automobile manufacturing industry, retiring in 1990. Mr. Salrin was a member of the Methodist Church, VFW, American Legion and 40/8 Group. In October of 2012 he moved to Guymon from Medaryville to be near his family. Survivors include his daughter, Kathy and husband, Eddie VanDyke; two grandchildren, Keith and Elizabeth all of Guymon; one brother, Robert Salrin and wife, Jean of Medaryville, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services and interment of cremains will be in the White Post Cemetery in Medaryville, Indiana. Local services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
