April 17, 1929 - Oct. 27, 2013 SOUTH BEND - Lloyd James Rouhselang, 84, residing in South Bend, passed away at 7:00 am Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, in his home. He was born April 17, 1929, in South Bend, to the late William and Anna (Dobda) Rouhselang, and remained a lifelong area resident. On November 2, 1974, in South Bend, Lloyd married the former Shirley A. Zurat, who preceded him in death on December 12, 2010. He was also preceded by a son, James Rouhselang in 2012; sisters, Dorothy Easley and Margaret "Molly" Lewis; and brothers, Willard and George Rouhselang. Lloyd is survived by daughters, Colleen Rouhselang of Austin, TX, Judith (Michael Pipke) Rouhselang of Carmel, IN, Sandra (Robert Rhine) Rouhselang of Park Ridge, IL, and Patricia (Joseph) Dukarm of South Bend; son, David M. (Nicole Nelson) Rouhselang of South Bend; and grandchildren, Breana and Diante Rouhselang, and Patrick and Alexandra Rhine. Lloyd attended South Bend Central High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Lloyd attended College at Notre Dame, Indiana University, and Purdue University where he graduated with a degree in Pharmacy. From then he went on to become the owner of Blume Pharmacy. He retired in 1997 after 34 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, November 1, 2013, in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, 2114 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46617. Military graveside services and burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, October 31, 2013, in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend.
