John J. DeAngelis, of Whitman, passed away April 27th at the age of 80. John was born, raised, and educated in Randolph, where he was a graduate of the Stetson School. He continued on and graduated from Burdett College with a degree in Sales Management and Northeastern University with a degree in Business. In 1997, John retired from Stone and Weber Engineering Corp., Boston. He was a member of the Holbrook Sportsman Club and enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting. Beloved husband of the late Charolette J. (Evans) DeAngelis. Loving father of Linda Dashner of Bridgewater, Nancy DeAngelis of W. Bridgewater, Joseph DeAngelis and his wife Michelle of Bridgewater, and James DeAngelis of Auburn. Dear grandfather of Jennifer, Joseph, Jacqueline, Kristen, Jessica, Brandon, and Justin. Great-grandfather of Braydon and Caleb. A funeral service will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph, Thursday at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Randolph. Late Korean War U.S. Air Force Veteran.
