Joseph S. Guerra, 87, of Brockton, died Aug. 4, 2014. He previously resided in Hanson and East Bridgewater. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and also served in the National Guard. Joseph retired as a construction laborer and was a member of Local 721. He was a member of the Masonic Wampatuck Lodge in Hanson, Conte Club and Sons of Italy. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and playing the clarinet and saxophone. Joseph was the beloved husband of Teresa (Pirani) Guerra since 1988 and the late Julia (Pajek) Guerra; loving father of Bruce Guerra and his wife Ellen of East Bridgewater and Barry Guerra and his wife Jennifer of Brockton; stepfather of Kathy Regan and her husband Chris of Brockton, Linda DiClemente and her husband John of Abington, Michael Terry and his wife Susan of Carver and the late Patricia Maxwell; dear grandfather and great-grandfather of many, including Jason, Matthew, Mark, Christina, Julia and Samantha Guerra; and the brother of Bruno Guerra of Brockton.
