Kenneth R. Benoit, age 70, a 39 year resident of Halifax died Oct. 1, after a long illness. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Alice (Willow) Benoit. He attended Indiana Tech in Ft. Wayne, IN and Harvard University. Kenneth retired from Amray Company as Vice President of Sales. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Ken is survived by his wife Margaret L. (Lown) Benoit, his sons Michael K. Benoit of Plymouth, Christopher A. Benoit and his wife Barbara of Marshfield and his daughter Michelle M. Pearce and her husband Kevin of Bridgewater and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Nathan Gosselin. He also is survived by his sister Audrey Benoit of Canton and was predeceased by his brother George Benoit. Visiting hours were in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in Hanover, on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 5 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett St., Rte 58 in Halifax.
