Anna M. (Donaher) Friedmann, 88, of Avon, died Feb. 27, 2013. Raised in Dorchester, she resided in Hyde Park before moving to Avon in 1964. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member and past president of VFW Post 8892 Ladies Auxiliary of Avon and a member of WAVES National and Old Ironside Unit 17, Boston. Anna enjoyed the Avon Council on Aging, playing cards there, bingo in years past and trips to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. She was retired from Hit or Miss Warehouse in Avon and the Federal Reserve. Anna was the wife of the late Edward; beloved mother of Edward and his wife Monique of Brockton, Thomas and his wife Hope of Townsend, Frances Martin and her husband John of Townsend, Patrice Dronebarger of Ohio and the late Walter, Barbara Krebs and her husband Jon of Raynham; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Justin, Megan, Kevin, Melinda, Timothy and Edward; great-grandmother of 13; sister of Bernard Donaher of Carver, Claire Kendzerski and Jeanne Flynn of Braintree; and an aunt of many.
